These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Unity Music mobile application, website, and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using Unity Music, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
2. Your account
You sign in with Google. You are responsible for all activity on your account and for keeping your Google account secure. Contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Acceptable use
When using the Service, you agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract audio or image assets from the Service for redistribution.
- Use automated scrapers, bots, or other tools to access the Service in a way that imposes a burden on our infrastructure.
- Upload or submit content that infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any person.
- Impersonate another artist, organisation, or individual.
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the Service, other users’ accounts, or our backend systems.
4. Content and licensing
All songs, cover art, artist photos, and other content on the Service are owned by Unity Music or by the artists and rights-holders who provided them. You receive a limited, personal, non-commercial, and non-transferable right to stream this content through the Service for your own enjoyment. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or publicly perform any content without the rights-holder’s written permission.
5. Artist submissions
If you apply to join as an artist and submit recordings, cover art, biographical information, or other material, you represent that you own or have the necessary rights to that material and grant Unity Music a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, transcode, stream, and promote it as part of the Service. You retain ownership of your underlying works.
6. Paid features
Some parts of the Service may be offered free of charge and others may require payment or a subscription. If and when paid features are introduced, pricing and billing terms will be presented at the point of purchase and will be governed by these Terms together with the Refund Policy.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect the Service or other users. You may also stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including those of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unity Music and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or related to the Service or these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
