This Refund Policy explains when and how you can request a refund for paid features on Unity Music. By purchasing a subscription or making any other payment on the Service, you agree to the terms below.
1. Free service
The core Unity Music experience — streaming, liked songs, playlists, and discovery — is free to use. No payment is required to sign up or listen to music.
2. Paid subscriptions
If and when paid subscription plans are introduced, the following terms apply:
- Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan you select).
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from within the app. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund the current billing period.
- Unused portions of a paid subscription period are generally non-refundable, except as described below.
3. When we offer refunds
We will consider a refund in the following situations:
- Duplicate or erroneous charge — you were billed twice for the same period, or charged after successfully cancelling.
- Failure to deliver the service — the paid feature you purchased was unavailable for a sustained period due to a fault on our side.
- First-time subscription within 7 days — if you have purchased a subscription for the first time and contact us within 7 days of the initial charge, we will issue a full refund provided the request is made in good faith.
4. When refunds are not available
- Change of mind after the 7-day first-time subscription window.
- Subscriptions that have already been used for a substantial portion of the billing period.
- Accounts terminated by us for violation of our Terms and Conditions.
- Purchases made through third-party app stores (Google Play, Apple App Store) — these are subject to the store’s own refund policy, and refunds must be requested directly from them.
5. How to request a refund
To request a refund, email support@unitymusic.app from the address associated with your Unity Music account. Please include:
- Your account email address.
- The transaction date and amount (or a screenshot of the receipt).
- The reason for the refund request.
We aim to respond to all refund requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method and typically arrive within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Changes apply only to purchases made after the revised policy takes effect.
